Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero: The 4th highest-grossing Anime film in the US Today

Overtaking Jujutsu Kaisen 0 as the highest-grossing anime film of all time in the United States, Dragon Ball Super:
Super Hero has broken the $100 million mark at the box office.

The Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero anime film grossed an estimated $34,932,582 in its third weekend in North America, after Labor Day weekend.

This estimate places the film just ahead of Jujutsu Kaisen 0 (US$34,542,754 in 2022) as the fourth highest-grossing anime film in U.S. history (unadjusted for inflation).

The two films are currently ranked 28th and 29th in the U.S. box office this year, behind Downton Abbey: A New Era ($43,896,550) and ahead of The Northman, The Bob's Burgers Movie, and Beast.

Pokémon: The First Movie, Demon Slayer – Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Movie: Mugen Train, and Pokémon 2000 - The Movie are the anime films that have grossed the most money in the U.S. box office.

Last weekend, Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero defeated Dragon Ball Super: Broly ($30,712,119 in 2018).

This weekend, Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero is predicted to earn $2,405,000, ranking it ninth for the period.
